Jaden Smith's new girlfriend Sarah Synder 'facing theft charges' after allegedly stealing $16K Hermes bag

Sarah Synder was thrust into the spotlight earlier this week when she was photographed getting close to Jaden Smith and now a mug shot, relating to an arrest in June has been revealed.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's 17-year-old son was first pictured looking very cosy with the blonde beauty at the Gypsy Sport show at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday .

She also accompanied him to Kanye West's show on Wednesday, where she mingled with A listers including Miguel, Drake and the Kardashians.

But the future may not completely rosy for Sarah.

According to The New York Post she was arrested in June this year for allegedly stealing a $15,995 Hermes Birkin bag from a shopping centre in Katonah, New York.

Synder was reportedly picked up by police in Manhattan after a four month investigation and charged with one count of grand larceny in the third degree.

Sources allegedly told the publication that the model was cooperative during the arrest and that the case is on going.
